Common Questions
What veterans ask before getting support.
What does 10 Point Government Solutions do?
We provide educational consulting and support to help veterans better understand VA disability benefits, build stronger claims, pursue rating increases, and navigate the VA process with confidence.
Is 10 Point a law firm or affiliated with the VA?
No. 10 Point Government Solutions is not a law firm, does not provide legal representation, and is not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs. We provide educational consulting and support only.
How can 10 Point help me with my claim?
We review your situation, help you understand your options, identify missing evidence, and build a strategy tailored to your goals—whether it involves an initial claim, a rating increase, secondary conditions, or an appeal.
What is a secondary condition?
A secondary condition is a new medical issue that is caused or aggravated by a service-connected condition. We help veterans identify and develop strong secondary condition claims.
Can I file for a rating increase?
Many veterans qualify for rating increases when symptoms worsen over time. We help identify evidence, treatment records, and documentation that may support a stronger evaluation.
What if my claim was denied?
A denial does not always mean the process is over. We help veterans review VA decision letters, identify weaknesses in the evidence, and understand potential next steps.
Can you help me understand my VA decision letter?
Yes. We help translate VA decision letters into plain English so veterans can better understand what the VA decided, why it was decided, and what options may be available.
Do I need an attorney?
Not necessarily. Many veterans simply need help understanding the process, organizing evidence, and developing a stronger strategy before deciding whether legal representation is needed.
Can I work with 10 Point if I already have a VSO?
Yes. Many veterans use our services for a second opinion, evidence review, educational guidance, or claim strategy while continuing to work with their VSO.
What is Community Care?
Community Care allows eligible veterans to receive healthcare from approved providers outside the VA system under certain circumstances. We help veterans better understand available options and request processes.
How much does a consultation cost?
Costs depend on the complexity of the situation. Contact us for a free case review and we will explain available options.
What states do you serve?
We assist veterans nationwide. Most consultations can be conducted remotely by phone, email, or secure online communication.
Are consultations virtual or in-person?
Most consultations are conducted remotely, allowing us to assist veterans regardless of location.
Can you guarantee a specific rating or outcome?
No. VA decisions are made by the Department of Veterans Affairs. We cannot guarantee outcomes. Our role is to help veterans build the strongest possible case through education, organization, and strategy.
